Folks,

The good news first - I was very impressed indeed with the lecture at  
Harvard last night, and very happy indeed to be there in person.   
Among those in attendance were John Dowling, Florian Engert, and Doug  
Melton, professors from the Department of Molecular and Cellular  
Biology (the department where I earned my Ph.D.).  Prof. Melton is one  
of the most eminent figures in the department; among other things, he  
is the co-director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and chair of the  
Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology.  We put on a  
performance for the big shots and hit one out of the park, guys!

Now the bad news.  I'm not going to ban him, but I had to call out one  
Robert Crowther who just posted on our wall - I'm assuming he is  
indeed the Discovery Institute's PR man.  He's an odd character - self- 
proclaimed agnostic libertarian working for a cabal of religious  
fundamentalists, many of them YECs.  I'm going to cool off for a while  
but I refuse to let him spread his misinformation unchallenged.  I'm  
sorry if I was brusque with him, but guys like him are why we fight  
the good fight in the first place.
