Gerardo and everyone,
See the updates below - but please - do what you can to invite Boston-
area folks to the lecture at Harvard on September 16 (the e-mail is
below).
Our growth rate has jumped significantly from growing 20 members a day
to something like 600 a day. It's our fastest growth rate in months.
Congratulations to everyone for all you are doing:
1. Gerardo Camilo at St. Louis University
> just made announcements in first two gen bio (~300 kids in each) plus
> biometry and general ecology (ask them to join too). I'll be making
> announcements for another two gen bio sections (another 300) as well
> as evolution sections (4 sections), and general ecology. Katie
> McKinnon (anthropology) will be doing the same on her side of campus.
> Keep an eye on membership numbers to see if we start increasing
> faster.

4. Kendall's database of 3,400 biology professors around the country
Kendall put together a database of more than *3,400* biologists at
leading universities around the country and we e-mailed them yesterday.
So much more to say.
5. Production for the Sept 16 lecture
Kendall and I are meeting today to review all the logistics for the
upcoming lecture at Harvard on September 16. Please invite everyone
you know in the Boston area to attend that lecture (see template below).
Thanks!
Phil
